Seattle, WAAllison Rohland is a textural abstract painter based in Seattle Washington and considers herself an intuitive process painter. She has no pre-conceived notions of what a painting will be before she begins painting it. Allison allows herself to feel what the painting wants to be and then lets it flow through herself. Much of her process is informed by what is emotionally happening within herself and what is tangibly happening in the studio. She finds that much of her work is influenced by her life experiences, emotions and the subconscious absorption of the world around her.
