Julie Moss is an UK artist who works within the traditional genre of landscapes, based on a deeply felt experience that is filtered through memory. It is the shift between what is seen, remembered, and experienced, that Julie seeks to capture. She initially works outdoors with inks and Japanese brushes in her sketchbook. Once back in the studio she works in oils on canvas, often preferring a large scale canvas to create an immersive atmosphere, which will hopefully draw the viewer into her world.
