Warsaw, PolandAga made her first serious artwork on a wall of her family home at age four, and drawing has been her way of expressing herself ever since. She attended the Creative Art Workshop as a teenager and later studied art at the University in Olsztyn. She works as a graphic designer, but drawing is what truly fulfills her. Her work is modern and minimalist, yet built from hundreds of lines. She works mostly in black and white: black stands for the beginning and the end, white for possibility. Each piece starts as an urge, sketched digitally on a graphic tablet, then completed over three or four full days of drawing, always with good music playing. Lately she draws animals, which let her see her own emotions as if in a mirror. Inspired by quantum theory and the idea that everything is connected, she often builds her drawings as webs. To her, we are all part of one large web.
