Ahn Hee Strain

Ahn Hee Strain was adopted from South Korea at six months old. The youngest of six, she has found in art a way to express herself and connect with her surroundings and the family around her. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a BFA in Visual Communication: Graphic Design, but she hopes to connect with and give back to her community through art therapy. Ahn Hee seeks to capture the essence of a perspective that lies beyond what is visible. Her work is a visual dialogue between organic line, free-flowing energy and the play of color found in nature. Each piece is an exploration and an invitation for viewers to embark on their own introspective journey.
