Brandy Bourne has deep roots in Western North Carolina and has lived there off and on for most of her life, with the exceptions of times that she followed jobs or school to cities from Georgia to Taiwan. Brandy's own art practice has always been a private thing, but she put some prints in local galleries and started posting her art to Instagram and has been gratified and spurred on by the positive responses. While she has long been involved in the arts, this new method of connecting with people is powerful in a way that has taken her by surprise.
