Montserrat Serra is an artist and mother whose motherhood has lead her to her authentic self as a painter. She feels rooted in meditation and paints to translate her experiences into a warm encounter for her viewers' eyes and souls. Her paintings share the beauty of the ephemeral as well as the chaos of her daily life with kids, who help her to live with awareness in the present moment. She creates art that is full of movement, either through brush strokes or fabric collaged on canvas. She prefers to use organic colors that create a warm and cozy feeling. She intends to comfort her viewers and hopes they can find their inner strength and peace in her paintings.
