Born in San Francisco and raised by a community of artists, Orfeo Quagliata developed a distinctive ethos and aesthetic that makes his work exceptionally powerful and immediately recognizable. After studying design at the California College of the Arts, he arrived in Mexico, finding inspiration in the growing framework of creative export that the country has. He founded Studio Orfeo Quagliata, manufacturing a wide range of products under the philosophy of discovering through the exploration of light, shape and color, a fusion of art and design that expresses life.
